Crimson Announces State of the Channel Survey Results
Technology vendors can use these results to optimize their channel approach
Los Altos, Calif. - May 1, 2009 - Crimson Consulting Group, a management consulting firm focused on marketing, announces the results of a Q109 survey focused on technology channel partners in the U.S. and Europe (U.K., France, Netherlands, Belgium and Finland). “Crimson’s services have evolved to the point where more than half of our work has a channel component” said Crimson Partner, Dylan Charles. “That factor and the demand we are seeing for deeper understanding of the channel, drove our desire to create this survey.” “With our alliance partner in Europe, bChannels, we feel it’s very important for us to keep a pulse on what channel partners are thinking and doing” stated Charles. “The market for technology products and services is extremely dynamic. Our clients need to make changes to their programs and value propositions frequently and quickly in order to better align themselves with the channel.” Key findings from the survey include: - How the current worldwide economic climate is changing the way channel partners plan to do business in the near- and long-term
- A review of upside opportunities channel partners see in the changing global marketplace
- An outline of the types of programs and support vendors could provide to their channel partners to help them succeed today
Crimson is pleased to share the complete survey results with technology vendors upon request. If interested, use the contact information below to arrange for a discussion of what vendors should do differently as a result of how the channel is changing.
